The tibial post in posterior-stabilized (PS) knee implants is a potential source of significant debris. A recent study demonstrated that post wear changed significantly by altering the position of the post within a single design. In this study, we examined this design dependence further by assessing post wear in 3 different contemporary PS knee designs. We hypothesized that differences in the tibial post design would correlate with different wear patterns.
