The removal of well-fixed cementless acetabular components can be challenging and may lead to tremendous bone loss. The options for a well-fixed, malpositioned cup include cup revision, face-changing liners, or eccentrically cementing a liner in a more appropriate position. This study reviews our experience with a technique of eccentrically cemented acetabular liners in well-fixed, malpositioned cementless acetabular components.
