Previous studies have demonstrated excellent survivorship for cementless acetabular fixation in revision total hip arthroplasty (THA). As implants and surgical techniques evolve, these changes may be associated with unanticipated deleterious effects on component survivorship. Our purpose is to describe the results of acetabular revision using a third generation cementless component that is in wide use today.
