Osteoneocrosis of the femoral head (ONFH) is difficult to treat as collapse frequently occurs despite core decompression (CD), probably due to the failure to provide structural support. Reports of PMMA injection for ONFH have noted favourable results. This study was undertaken to determine whether the addition of PMMA packing, provides any benefit to the outcomes of CD.
