The Effect of Operative Volume on the Outcome of Hip Resurfacing
Andrew J. Shimmin; Steven Graves; Philip C. NobleHip
Although Hip Resurfacing Arthroplasty (HRA) has become a popular alternative to THR, the outcome of these procedures varies extensively between centers. This has been attributed to variations in patient selection, surgical experience, and patient volume. In this study, we examine the effect of hospital volume on the outcome of hip resurfacing using a national database.
