The Journal of Arthroplasty, PAPER #22| VOLUME 25, ISSUE 3, E22, APRIL 01, 2010
Hip

Squeaking is a recently recognized complication that may occur after ceramic-on-ceramic (CoC) total hip arthroplasty (THA). Though usually not painful, the degree of annoyance can be severe for some patients to seek revision THA. To our knowledge, the outcome of revision THA for squeaking has not previously been reported. The objective of this paper is to report on the radiological, clinical, and functional scores of patients after revision THA for squeaking.
