Perioperative administration of a COX-2 inhibitor has demonstrated decreased in-hospital narcotic requirements and improved knee range of motion after total knee arthroplasty (TKA). The purpose of this study was to determine what benefits resulted from an additional 6 weeks of COX-2 inhibitor treatment.
