Are Women Candidates for Hip Resurfacing?

Many short- to midterm results have been published suggesting that female gender is a contraindication for resurfacing. The purpose of this study was to investigate whether gender itself has a detrimental effect on the clinical results of hip resurfacing arthroplasty.
