Background: The peri-operative and short term benefits of unicompartmental knee arthroplasty (UKA) are becoming increasingly well supported in the literature. Despite this, there remains concern regarding the higher revision rate when compared with total knee replacement. We report the 30 year functional outcome and survivorship estimate for a large series of St Georg Sled medial replacements, from an experienced centre.
